Kaishin Ginsan

Collection of master blacksmith Nakamura Hamono.

Kaishin knives are known to be top of the line. Crafted from Ginsan steel for a super sharp, extremely thin blade and rust protection, embellished with an octagonal handle of magnolia and white water buffalo horn.

"Kai" means a pioneer (魁)

"Shin" means a spirit (心)

Based in Chiba and Associated with an outstanding craftsman from Sakai City in Osaka. These knives offer super nice quality, are stylish and affordable. The company's president, Mr. Nakamura, has extensive experience as a sushi chef in a well-known restaurant in Osaka and Los Angeles.
